In Australia, it is now against the law
to send out unsolicited emails, even if
the email address is visible on a website
or in an advertisement. You can of course,
contact the person using their email address
if you are enquiring about their services
etc, but NOT to promote your own.
To abide by the law, using an Opt-In/Out-Out
mail list, you can send out promotional
emails. This is a system where the person
who you sent an email to can unsubscribe
anytime via a link on the bottom of the
email you sent them.
We have a test system set-up for you
to see how it all works.
- Log
on to the TEST LIST here
- Password is enter
- Go to Manage List > Change List
Information
- Add in your own email address for
the list owner > Save changes
- Go to Send A List Message
- You have the option of plain text
or HTML
- Send Test Message To Owner to see
what it will look like
This system is set-up so you can manually
add email addresses from your contact
address book as well as people adding
themselves (opting in) to your list via
your website, just as below. Adding this
tiny form to your website is all you need
to do, after we have installed the software
on your website.

Join the test mail list to
see the process in action. You can
unsubscribe if you like, or log
on, add a few email addresses of
your own and send your list an email
or newsletter.
